Ruth Olga Olson Diehl, 69, an Attica native, died early Friday morning in a hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Diehl was born in Attica on Oct. 30, 1899, the daughter of Nels and August Olson. She was married to Carl Diehl, who preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Carl Diehl, Jr., of Waterloo, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Frisk of Webster Grove, Mo.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Knowles. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday in St. Louis. --waw
